HISTORY
For over half a century, NASSAU has been the preferred distributor of vision care products for the optical community. In 2020, Nassau Vision Group merged with OOGP, an optical distributor based in Grants Pass, Oregon. Since then, the two businesses have been known as NASSAU OOGP Vision Group. This merge was encouraged by the need to provide customers with the best products and services on the market.
Today NASSAU OOGP Vision Group has distribution and service centers located throughout the United States. This ensures high fill rates and localized business support.

National Sales Team
Created in 1989, our National Sales Division continues to experience leading industry growth. Extensive sales networks were established to facilitate the distribution of semi-finished and finished lenses along with ophthalmic products and services throughout the country. A new era emerged in 1996 when Nassau’s state-of-the-art facility, Nova Optical Lab, opened. Equipped with hi-tech machinery, this full service facility offers edging, surfacing, tinting, and coating. Currently, Nova is leading the charge in digital technology utilizing Essilor, Shoreview and other semi-finished stock lenses as well as a complete variety of new coatings to create vision products of the highest quality and best value.
